We are not licensed hiking guides. These are trails we have walked ourselves and recommend based on our own experience.

Prevalla, Sharr Mountains
Hiking to Jazhinca Lake (Liqeni i Jazhinces) above Prevalla in the Sharr Mountains, one of the highest glacial lakes in Kosovo. A demanding full day mountain hike, best from June to October, roughly a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Prishtina.
Rugova valley near Peja
The Liqenat trail starts in Kuqisht village in the Rugova valley near Peja and climbs through pine forest to the Liqenat lakes in the Accursed Mountains (Bjeshket e Nemuna). One of the most popular hiking trails in Kosovo, about 2 hours drive from Prishtina.
This route was recorded in May while the area was still covered in snow. Due to the snow-covered terrain, there may be deviations from the usual summer trail.

Junik, western Kosovo
Junik Canyon (Kanioni i Junikut) is an easy nature walk near Junik in western Kosovo, with turquoise water and mossy limestone walls, ideal for families and short day trips from Prishtina. The road is now paved almost all the way to the canyon. From where you leave your car, the walk to the canyon is approximately 600 metres. For a longer hike, you can start from Restaurant Trofta in Junik.
Deçan, Accursed Mountains
A scenic hike above Decan through Qafa e Bogiqes to Liqeni i Ridit, a quiet mountain lake in the Accursed Mountains of western Kosovo. Good for experienced day hikers, roughly a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Prishtina.
Brezovica, Sharr Mountains
A ridge hike from Brezovica ski resort past the old Molika pines up to Liqeni i Gjolit (Lake Gjolit) in the Sharr Mountains. A long, exposed summer hiking route with wide views over southern Kosovo, about 1 hour 30 minutes from Prishtina.
Kukaj village, about 30 minutes from Prishtina
The Kukaj trail is the easiest hiking option near Prishtina, a short walk through green hills in the Kukaj village area, about 30 minutes from the city and doable in half a day without a car trip into the mountains.
You can request a private hiking experience with us. Subject to availability, we can accompany you on the trail and provide transportation from Prishtina to the starting point and back.
